Project Cases: Hardware Accessories

This is a scissor-type car jack, primarily used for car maintenance. It lifts the vehicle through mechanical transmission, facilitating operations such as tire replacement and chassis inspection. It features a compact structure and portability, and is a commonly used maintenance tool for family cars and small vehicles.

Its production process is as follows:

1. Design and material preparation

Design stage: 3D models and engineering drawings are created in CAD to define the dimensions of each component clearly, the transmission structure (lead screw, scissor-arm fit), and the load-bearing parameters (typically 1-2 tons).

Material procurement: Select high-strength carbon steel (e.g., Q235 or 45# steel), and conduct chemical and mechanical property testing to ensure strength and toughness.

2. Component processing

Scissor arm processing: After the steel plate is formed by stamping, it is bent into the required Angle by a bending machine to ensure structural strength.

Lead screw processing: Round steel is turned into trapezoidal threads (to ensure self-locking), and the shaft diameters at both ends and the handle connection parts are processed simultaneously.

Base/top seat processing: After stamping or casting, milling is used to ensure flatness. The base is designed with anti-slip features, and the top seat is fitted to the car’s chassis support points.

Handle/connecting parts processing: The handle is formed by turning or stamping, and the pin shafts and other connecting parts ensure the fit accuracy through turning and stamping.

3. Assembly stage

The scissor arm is hinged through a pin shaft to ensure smooth rotation. Assemble the lead screw with the scissor arm nut seat and adjust the thread meshing accuracy. The base, top seat, and scissor arm are hinged together, and the handle is installed to complete the overall assembly.

4. Surface treatment

After acid washing or sandblasting for rust removal, apply red anti-rust paint (or electrophoretic paint), then dry it to form a uniform coating that can prevent rust and enhance appearance recognition.

5. Quality inspection

Performance test: Load 1.2 times the rated load to test the load-bearing capacity, and continuously lift and lower to test the stability of the fit between the lead screw and the scissor arm.

Safety inspection: Check the self-locking performance (no reverse sliding of the lead screw after lifting) and the connection strength of components (no loosening of the pin shaft and no cracking of the scissor arm).

Visual inspection: Confirm that the coating is free of defects and the components have no processing flaws.

6. Packaging and warehousing

After cleaning, it is packed in cartons, classified by model, and stored in the warehouse, ready for leaving the factory.
